Hiding Elements in Sheets (but keeping them in Plans) [Revit 2012]

Is it possible for me to hide some elements of a Plan in a Sheet for example grid lines, dimensions, etc yet keep all of these visible in the corresponding Floor Plan? If I activate the view in the sheet then the corresponding Floor Plan is affected. I'd rather not duplicate the Plan either as I'm still working on it. I just want to be able to switch on and off some elements of the Plan in the Sheet only. Thanks.

Nope. Not without either duplicating the view or creating a view template (or enabling temporary view templates). The sheet is just so you can put the view on it and plot. It's still the same view.

I'd create another plan view, and use it as a working view. That way you can go crazy turning off stuff while you design without affecting the plotted view. A lot of people use this workflow.
