Type properties dialog content shifts to the left.

Does anybody know a solution for this annoying problem?
Most of the times, when I need to edit properties in the Type Properties dialog, as soon as I click on one of the rows to edit something, the whole content of the window shifts to the left, leaving me guessing the name of the parameter. See attached image.

Mine does that, but only when i have the ResizeEnableRunner Running, for resizing unresizeable dialogue boxes. Come to think of it, it MIGHT do it without it running, but i would have accepted it as normal by now, LOL. I know it typically only happens once ive changed the size of the dialogue though.

From the looks of that dialog you should be able to highlight over the right edge of the column head and drag it over so it does not have so much white space to the right. Doing this should decrease the size of what the dialog is trying to show, allowing it to show it all with out having to have the bottom scroll bar so you can view it all at once.

True, but once you click on another field, it shifts again. It's been doing this to me for forever. I'm with Aaron, I've just accepted it and moved on. It is annoying, though.

Like gdoherty0102 said, I have found that it does not 'shift' if I minimize the Parameters column until there is no bottom scroll bar. Revit usually remembers that setting for me, so each time I open the Type Properties after fixing it, it stays fixed. Yay.

Yep, Sarah is right. stumbled on this a while ago. See image. Shrink Parameters column till scroll bar disappears. Windows will remember.

I could have sworn I tried that and it didn't work. Oh well. I just checked and it's not doing it now so maybe I fixed it somehow?? IDK

With win7, one can try ctrl+roll middle button once you are in the properties window. Caution! You may need glasses! ;-)

Yep, I find the same problem. Once I resize it sticks, but then randomly it comes back. I haven't narrowed it down, but I think I may be resizing in the family editor to work on forumlas and then maybe when I go back to the project that size carries over and it causes the problem? Will try to catch the workflow somehow if i can remember at the time
