Lights on a sloped ceiling

First thread so bear with me.

I've been using revit for about 6 months and love it!

Having an issue with revit standard strip lights in that when I attach them to a sloped ceiling they will not go in at the same level (light source).

I am drawing a retail shed which doesn't have a ceiling so I've just hidden the element after putting the lights in but it seems a bit of a cheat. Do I just need to use a different light?

...although it's probably the easiest quickest cheat How will the lights be mounted in reality? if your building won't have a ceiling don't use a ceiling. Are the lights mounted to beams or hang from chains? The best way is to build it that way in Revit.

Look at your family type, have you tried face based (ceiling) with offset &/or rotation parameters? or as a last resort non-hosted families which can be placed anywhere in 3D.
