Yeah, but Jose thought of it. So it would have to be in Texas.

While I think the idea is great! I also think that a RFO CAMP may be a little too much to take on at the time being...

Maybe we can gather to make some sort of event at AU instead? Like a "RFO Beer Bust", but without all the fancy exhibits, and just the beer?

Also getting the RTC to Europe, with the help of Steve Stafford, etc. would be huge.

Seems to me that, if we where to seriously pursue it, we should consider doing it as a purely virtual event. NOT with the pathetic "virtual room" graphics of AU Virtual mind you.

But imagine if we could get sponsor support, such that we could do some virtual classes with up to a few hundred participants. Each instructor could be working from their home or office, driving Revit or Power Point (better yet Keynote ) or whatever. Questions could be asked using RFO PMs in real time. Even if it started small. Maybe just a few people doing classes, one a day for a week?

I think RTC Europe is a great idea, and RFO Salons could augment that and AU very well. The question is, what is the cost to host a two hour streaming presentation like that? Sponsorship to cover a few hundred $ would be easy, a few thousand $ not so much.

I would support an event like mentions in the above posts. Maybe for our first meeting we could all just jump in skype and drink beer and tell stories. HAHAHA

This party needs a DJ or (MC)? .. dzatto .. step on up, anyone .. ?

I think Gordon's idea of a Virtual RFO Camp is so far the best, i would envision a few staggered LIVE virtual sessions every hour and a half akin to an actual Augi CAD Camp, .. nothing too fancy for its initial kickoff.

just brainstorming here .. based on popular posts :

A quick 15-20 minute intro of the sessions .. and . .the question then is .. what kind of sessions would "you" like to see ?

I can do a blurb on the VSTA macro manager, how to use, creating, sharing, etc. ..

Off the top of my head, Aaron's template information was a HIT .. tons of information there, making families (you know what i mean =), REVIT Server is a popular one .. I'm just trying to push the snowball here ... your thoughts?
