error message - Boundary edge lines intersect each other ??

    Hi,
I have been getting this error message that I am not sure what to do about – please see attached screen shot.
I get the error message when I try attach the base of wall to the slab.
    I have attached my model.

I have been pulling my hair our so if anyone have any suggestions of what might cause the error message would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    J

I'm not a structure guy but found if you switch off "enable analytical model" in either wall or floor properties to problem goes away.
or if you need "enable analytical model" to be active then go to floor edit sketch boundry mode, select sketch lines and change in properties " Alignment Method" to "Projection" the problem goes away.
I don't know why or what these settings are for but seems to solve the problem. Will read up in help file later.

      Thanks,
Disabling the analytics for the floor solved the issue.
I would still like to know why it caused an error.
      Cheers,
      J

        Hi,
When the wall you want to attach is happen to be in the middle of two slab edge (e.g. an opening near the edge), the analytical floor boundary will adjust to meet the analytical wall, and that makes your problem.

        Cheers,
