Can Families cut into hosts skipping the cut geometry tool?

Anyone know of a work around to using the cut geometry tool after creating a void extrusion within a family? I'm laying out voids in a floor slab with over 300 auditorium chairs (locations still in flux) and would like to not have to use the cut tool for my voids everytime the scheme changes. Can I simply tell revit to always cut into this host?

    thanks

The void needs to be in a face based family. In the family editor, use Cut Geometry so that the void cuts the dummy face of the face-based template. When this family is loaded into a project and placed on the face of an element, the family will cut that element automatically.
