    elevation for sloping wall

    Hi all,

i am working on a elevation sloping wall.
typically making a new elevation in revit starts with placing a elevation view tag. this will give you a flat perpendicular view of object within the view rage. but what if you have a sloped wall? how do you guys create a flat elevation of wall that is sloped to document joint patterns and dimension them?

    Thanks

You can rotate an elevation (on plan) after you've placed it. Alternatively just make a section, customize it's head & line to look similar to your elevation tag.

Edit: Just realized you also have the wall sloping to its side. In that case what about adding a section along an section view. Use the Detail View family when placing this section line inside the section going through the wall, that one need not go vertical.
