    New to Revit

I'm new to Revit Structure and I'm trying to bring in a truss I created in Autocad into a Revit drawing. How do I get that truss to show up as a model in 3D?

    To be honest: start over....
What you can do however, is nest the autocad file in a Generic Model Family and set this to Category "Structural Framing". However, it will be a complete unintelligent, non-parametric family not capable of any of the advantages Revit has over Autocad.

You could import the DWG into the truss family editor and use this as a reference to trace the chord and web lines. The load the truss into a project file and the beams and braces will be placed on those lines.
