    Slab slope discrepancy btw "Slope arrow" and "Define Slope"

    Hi,

    I have created 2 slabs with 1/100 slope. 1 slab is using a "Slope Arrow" to define the slope while the other use slab "define slope" to create the slope.
    If I enter these numbers (0.572938697683) to define the slope in both slab I actually get a discrepancy between them. It seems that when you use a slope arrow the numbers are actually rounded off to 0.570. The discrepancy is not much but it is a discrepancy nonetheless.
    Anyone ells encountered this using RST 2011?

    I personaly do not use a slope, or define a slope anywere on my drawings. This goes back to the discussion on build it in Revit how they will build it in the real world. I define my slope with a reference plane. Then draw my geometry and use the model to get my heights. Most of the time we round up to nice round TOS, TOC number and forgo the slope, saying 1/2" : 1'-0" SLOPE MIN. This also makes it WAY eaiser when you have to adjust your framing or concrete.

      Hi,

      We use ref plane for all rhe framing, components etc.
      But how do you actually use a ref plane for a slab/floor? If you have the work plane set to a ref plane and then try to model a slab you get a warning message saying "this work plane can't be used for this operation".

        I dont associate my roof to the RP, i use the RP to get snap points for heights.
