From school I remember a quote, almost certainly attributed to someone famous. I remember the quote, but not who it belongs to. Hopefully our knowledgable and diverse group can fill in my poor memory. The quote is (something close to)...
"Beauty is not the goal of making, but it is the result of right making."
The unusual use of "making", and especially "right making", is the part I am most confident of. The rest could be more paraphrasing than I want to admit.
Anyone remember who said something like this?
thanks!
Gordon
