    Structural Foundation

Trying to create this footing as a structural foundation, so i can change width, depth and also depth and width of toe at the rear.
Tried to modify existing but just cant get my head around it :banghead:. Was also hoping to have array for rebar with parameters for size and spacing.
If any one can point me in a direction to make a start would be much appreciated.

    Cheers Paul

Any one's thoughts in doing this with structural walls and just joining the two. Not how I think it should be done but it looks alright on plan, given up on the reo at the moment due to time so just detail and send to QTO for numbers
    Any input appreciated

You can build the footing into the wall with a sweep applied, the problem with this workflow is that the footing size is set within the wall type, so you need different wall types for different footing sizes/wall heights

It does work well if your walls are fairly consistent.

Wall footings are generally a pain, as they dont have enough flexibility. The other approach I would go for would be a structural framing member with parameters to control the size of the footing. I havent had a requirement for that level of retaining wall though.

        Thanks for that Ben,
Will try that approach, would that be Beam and Brace family. Had a quick look and can't find much info on that particular family, what's with the stick and extrusion?

The easiest way would be as Ben suggested with a framing family, and use a sweep.
Very easy to make flexible parameters so you can modify the toe width/depth, and easy enough to duplicate the object so you can alter it depending on your wall type.
