    How to set up that toposurface would have been shown all the way to the bottom?

      Nice tip! I didn't know "Site Settings" existed. I see its under the Model Site palette. I always seem to overlook that some ribbon palette have the little hidden tool expand arrows on them.

        Technically, he would need to decrease the elevation, instead. If it is 0 right now, it should be something like -3.0 meters, for example. Just saying...
