Revit Views - How do i modify the Crop Region line style?

    Is this possible?

Not that i know of. You can hide it, under print options.
Callout line style, is changed in Object Styles -> Annotations -> Callout Boundery.

On or off, that is the only user control over the crop region lines.

You can't set the type, but you can overrule. Select the cropview, right click, override graphic in view, select an other pattern.
You have to do this for evey view manualy

I tried this in Revit 2014 and the overrides window only has the visible checkbox which i can use. All the rest is gone.

Was this possible in an earlier version?

You can override sections and elevations only....won't work with floor plans...

Just found that out myself. Even though they look the same it seems there's a difference between plan corp regions and section/elevation crop regions.

              I wonder why?

I have a template that I created in an old version of Revit. There, I have plan views with crop region line style changed, and others no. Now I can't change when I create a new plan view, only if I duplicate the one with the line style changed.

You are right, tried to do the exact same thing in Revit 2016, rather inconsistent if you ask me.

I've come across this issue today. Looks like there's still no way to preset view crop style in Revit 2018.

There's a revit idea on it here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit.../idi-p/6330724
