    Model management: review the model??

    Hi,
I about to start some tests and queries in my company to evaluate and benchmark the BIM process against our actual process for studies as general contractor.
That said, I wonder how you out there deal with checking your models.
I had a quick glance at Revit model review, seems powerful, but maybe not so easy to use.
I heard a few things about Solibri model checker, but maybe it is more to compare with Navisworks.
My purpose here is to deal with subcontractors models and datas, and also to check that model made by my colleagues are correct for our standards.

    Thanks for your advices.

      And it worked too...

I like Model Review, BUT it has it's limitations. So for an actual and full depth model reviewing from different sources it's not that suitable.
You'll have to resort to something like Navisworks, Solibri (which in fact is the same but uses IFC, MAJOR pain with Revit) or Vico. Currently, I would suggest to look at those third party applications for this, Revit isn't meant to do Model Reviews and it's at best somewhat handicapped.

We currently use Solibri, and have found it very useful.
