    Rebar hooks generating new shapes?

    Hi!

    I have a question about reabars, in RST 2013, when chancing the hook my rebar chance type.
    I mean A rebar shape "A" is still an "A" if its got hooks or not, but in Revit it creates duplicates types "shape1 shape2 etc"
    Why is it like that and how to chance this?

    If you think about it, a rebar "with a hook" is actually a different item than a rebar "without a hook".

      Well, It is. But not here in Sweden. I want an "A" whit hook to still be considered a "A" without hook.

        You are not able to do this in 2013. They added the ability to have hooks not affect bar shape in Revit 2014.

          I saw this in a video, but there was not expatiations how he did it, I guess it was some custom parameter that forced the shape not not chance name.
