Any thoughts on the Navisworks guys?

Hey, I know there's a group of Navisworks/Revit users out there like myself... any thoughts on adding some forums for them?

Might be handy, since I don't want to :banghead: w/ that other not-so-functional forum when I want to talk Navisworks... and when I'm talking Navisworks, Revit isn't that far behind!

I'll be there, even if I'm a newbie in Navisworks. Discussion may start, we're 2 people!

But be carefull, not too many Autodesk softs around here, just the BIM way of life!

Now that you mention this, I want to notify this good news: I invited Matt Stachoni to join us, and he has kindly registered in our forum. Matt is an expert on Navisworks (and Revit, ADT, hardware, you name it). In the attached image, we can see the classes that Matt was teaching just a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas.

He hasn't posted yet, but I am sure this thread will catch his attention. Matt, welcome to Revitforum.org !

So, Munkholm, I gues it's time to open a forum dedicated to Navisworks/Revit

Cool. I know a thing or two about navisworks.

I ran a vbulletin forum for a while, was a mod on another one. Munkholm, PM me if you want to chat about naming the subforum and stuff.

Think we should reach out to David Kingham -- he was a mod of the navisworks forum at that other place that shall not be named...

Valdeforum? AUGImort? Just don't know where to go with that, other than laughing. It gets a good giggle going.

As for forums, I like the idea of being open to any software that logically makes sense in our tool chain, autodesk product or not. If you folks on the construction side need a forum about BIM driven cost estimating software, here seems like a great place for it. If we never have a forum for Impression that will be OK too.
