    Families Standards Tool?

    Hi all,
    Is there a add in / plug in that can help me with getting my families in line to a consitent level. We had to produce a high number of families in a short time frame recently and we were also using staff who were learning the process of familiy creation. Now due to this we have a level of inconsitency in the families ie parameters in wrong categories, line styles not purged, sub-categories which are not required etc etc.

    Is there any tool out there that can audit and report on family files and list discrepancies? I gues what i need is a standards checker but even better would be a tool that could correct them as a part of the process.

    IMVHO there is no replacement for a person doing this work. You can use apps or journaling to change units, remove linestyles, add linestyles, remove subcategories, add subcategories... But unless youre just forcing all the geometry and lines back to the parent category (with no subcats) its not really feasible for much automation.

    If you are just forcing it all back to parent cat, i hear the guys at Case-inc are working on it... I think.
