    Totally off Topic - Puzzle, any math genius´ ?

    So many people here, and no questions to answer...

    How about answering this one - Below is 3 numbers, what would the next number be ?

    495989, 364572, 182014, ___________

        5*9=45
        8*9=72
        =364572
        3*6=18
        4*5=45
        7*2=14
        =182014
        and so on and so forth

          doh! Last I checked, 4*5 = 20 ;-)
          Just thought it was funny that you edited "... added the math to prove it"
          From your deduction, I'm guessing the next number in the series should be 804
          1*8 = 8
          2*0 = 0
          1*4 = 4

                  Really though, I probably would have skipped answering in this thread if it weren't for Alex's oops! :-) And even if he isn't a true math genius, they should probably go to him. He did post the pattern. :-P

                    So would the following numbers in the sequence be 00 and 0?
                    8*0=0
                    0*4=0
                    00
                    0*0=0
                    0
                    My guess though is the pattern ends at 804 since its digit count is not a multiple of two, ha
