I tried changing the setting in the Revit.ini file (which is now located under Program>UserDataCache). No dice. Still get IE. I don't know. Maybe I have to reboot the whole system. I had already changed it for Revit 2011 and that does path to Firefox, my default browser).

No. I leave it IE enabled just because there are some websites out there that are designed with only IE in mind and for some reason only display in IE properly.

After looking into it further, Revit 2011 will go to Chrome and Revit 2012 will default to IE.

Did you disable Internet explorer? Because I did a looong time ago so I wouldn't know. Everything defaults to chrome in my pc.

That's odd - I never modified the Revit.ini file to point to my default browser yet it still will open Chrome instead of IE

You have to modify the Revit.ini file to point to your default browser. Check out This Post

    Hope this helps

What do you mean pathing? When I search for help or use the Seek search in the Insert ribbon my results open up Chrome - which is my default browser. Perhaps you mean something else?

Or maybe it's just best to copy the address into Firefox & bookmark it.

    Pathing Help to Firefox

Revit paths to Internet Explorer, which I have no use for. Anyone know how to change the path to Firefox?
