    Wedge shaped foundation wall

Does anyone know how you would draw a foundation wall that is wider at the bottom than the top. It is for an as built of an older house.
    Appreciate any tips.
    Thanks

You could try a couple of methods:

    1. Create a "normal" 90 degree wall, then add a sweep with a custom profile that would give it the taper/wedge shape.

    2. Create an in-place family in the Wall Category and model it with the desired shape.

    3. Make the wall the thickness of the widest point at the base, then use a Void and Cut Geometry?

do you need to do any structural load calcs or analysis on the foundation wall? if so that will make a difference on how you create it.

I am also searching for a way to do this when using a wall foundation. I don't need a quick way but the best way. What would be the proper way to do this then?

Couldn't you also use a profile on a slab edge? Assuming there's a slab above the wall.
