Does anyone know if you can add new system types to the ones that are in revit 2012? It's nice that they added this, but it seems to be missing a lot of systems we might need (gas piping, 120deg hot water, hot water return, etc)

The only reason for (pipe) filters now is the ability to turn off the visibility of systems and with more filter rules split up same systems.
Appearance is now embedded in the properties of each pipe system, so filters are basically ON/OFF.
You can create however many new pipe systems as you want, but they have to be based off of the OOTB classifications.
I,e,. Sanitary is a OOTB system, but you can duplicate it and create an acid waste system and than control the ON/OFF with filters.

Can I pick a system classification for a new system?
In my Revit MEP 2012 template, I'm setting up systems to replace the filters that were in my company's Revit MEP 2011 template. I can't find a way to set the system classification on each system, apart from duplicating a system with the classification that I want. I'm afraid that if I delete systems that I don't want in the template, then those classifications will no longer be available to be added in a project created from my template.
Is there a way to pick which system classification to use for a new system?
