Hi Guys
Have any of you being playing with point clouds in 2012 yet?
There are a few things I'm notticing.
I've got a .xyz point cloud file. When you go to open this, revit converts it to a .pcg file. Thats fine. So then you import the .pcg file.
I nottice in the point cloud type properties, it has scaled it to: 3.280840.
My file is in metic milimeters. The 3.280840 looks like one of those off imperial conversions, and the point cloud itself does not look to be the correct size. (however when I import the .pcg file into an imperial rvt file I get the same thing). It seems a bit odd. Has anyone come across this?
The other thing with point clouds I find is when you zoom into them, the points end up being very difficult to see. Any solutions out there to that?
Thanks
Brian
