How is Generic Model Pattern Based different from Curtain Panel Pattern Based

I noticed that RAC2012 introduces a new family template: Generic Model Pattern Based.

When loaded in project it sorts under Curtain Panels in the Project Browser.

So, what is the difference from the Curtain Panel Pattern Based family?

It will schedule as a curtain wall panel.

Fluxing the Curtain Panel Pattern Based ?

Hello, I have a pattern like in the image and I want to make ot flux to be parametric so any size will work with that pattern.
Any idea or advice...
