Applies to: - All Verticals
New Feature / Problem:
I just voted for closed spline wish but then I discovered that spline cannot be used for all things in Revit...
So, Spline cannot be used as a path for walls, rails, stairs, cannot trim line and spline... and I guess there are some things more...
Why do you need this Feature / Why is it a Problem:
Well, for example, I make a road or a topo surface (using split surface) and I need to create a wall or a rail separating two properties.. or just for decoration.
Workflow:
You could copy the boundary of a surface or floor and make a rail or wall using it as a path.
Benefits:
Anyway, I think this will be useful for all
Attachment comments:
Revit lacks free modeling tools that I can easily find in MAX. Not that I would compare these two but I think that we because of the existence of parameters we sacrifice a lot of modeling tools and ways of making things.
