    Revit Units

    So I like when Revit calculates things for me. I have my total reinforcement volume * my reinforcement density. In the schedule I told it that I wanted this parameter to show in Tonnes (which to my ignorance is a metric ton ~2200lbs not 2000lbs). Where can I choose Tons (US as I am in the US and I thought the Revit I use was the imperial installed Revit)...again I know I can just force it with my own math, but I really would prefer Revit to just be able to do Tons in the US...

    Any suggestions?

    That should be under Manage>Project Units> (most likly Strcutural)

      This would change it for all of volumes in the project and I just need it in the one schedule which I can do fine...and it lists multiple units, but the units under Project Units will be exactly the same as what I can select on an override...

        You can't have weight units in Revit (or tell me how please).
        I use a calculated value as you did, and had the symbol for tons (T) in the column header.

          Go to the Formatting Tab of the Schedule Properties. You can override the units there.

            Weight and Force are the same thing...so I just use Structural-Force

              This is what I have done since the project is set to pounds. The issue is that none of the units I am able to select are Tons (US). I get Tonnes (Metric), Newtons, pounds, and others but no Tons...is there not a Tons (Unit) in Revit?

                  Could you use Kips? I dont see a "Ton" unit anywhere within Revit.

                    Sorry, I'm not too familiair with the Imperial System (and didn't read your post all too well)
