    Scaling an imported Family Object

hey guys! i've been working on the interior design of a client's new house for the past two weeks, he asked me to use the style of couches that he has at his old place in the rendering images since i was using any style/type of couch i have in my library.

I managed to find and download a furniture family in which i found Objects that were perfect for this project. The problem is, once i import the family and i click on it, i don't have any Dimensions to change... I tried to click on the couch and then choose the Scale button, but once i click on it it grays out and i can no longer choose that option.

I also tried editing the family but it's not working... Help anyone? it's urgent.. :banghead:

    thanks

    Sebouh, Welcome to the forum.

Just had a quick look at the family, and you´re out of luck... that family is made with a bunch of DWG imports, and can´t be scaled!
    Sorry.

Does this mean all the other families i have that give me the same problem are made of DWG imports? :/

Hard to say, but it´s not unlikely... you can tell if an object is an DWG by selecting it, and looking at the top of the properties palette..

Or open the family in the Family Editor. You will see a box around it, meaning that it's an imported cadfile.
