    CAD import problem

I am importing a CAD survey file into a project. When ever I import the chosen files, in fact ANY CAD files, they instantly come into Revit as black lines. Regardless of me choosing or not choosing to preserve colours etc...

I have been through everything I can think of, but nothing preserves the colour rep'. But to make matters worse, when I go to my VG and try and change the line weights of the imported CAD file, that also is non changeable..?? It flat refuses to make any difference.

I can only think that there is a setting that is overriding the CAD file on import, and this takes preference over every other setting..?

If I start a new project file, with our standard template, it does exactly what I want it to..??

Am I going mad, or is this possible..?

    Cheers

Unbelievably.. I have already sorted this out..

In View Range, if you have the bottom of Primary Range set to anything above "0", it turns all the lines of the CAD import black, and makes the overrides appear as though they are not working... Im not sure if it would print this way or not, but I have never come across this before..

Interesting if you have the same problem as I just have..!

    Cheers
