    April 1st and Revit History

    We weren't fooled....

Nine years ago today in 2002, Autodesk acquired Revit Technology Corporation (RTC), and the AEC industry was changed forever. So glad to have been a part of this from the beginning, both as a consumer and now with Autodesk!
Autodesk completed the acquisition by purchasing Revit Technology Corporation, a privately held company, for $133 million cash. The transaction closed on April 1, 2002

Nice note, Scott. Now that you mention this, it reminds me of some .pdf documents that I printed out from Augi where the very founders of Revit Corporation talk about the origins of Revit. These documents can be found at this link:

Remember: A woman never has enough clothes and never has enough shoes.

        Gee Klaus,

I hope she doesn't log in here - you will be in BIG trouble.

Brave, Brave man posting that online!
