    Revit Journal File Creation

I need some assistance. I had an idea of how to open up a bunch of annotation families, change the font and close it. I attempted writing the attached text file which i grabbed from the upgrade text file and added the lines i thought would work by opening revit running the command i wanted and closing revit. I then copied the lines out i needed. It doesnt run it opens Revit but stops Basically we have a new project that the client requires RomanS font and we have all of our annotations in Arial. Anyone have any other ideas or maybe knows how to get the attached file to work?

Like i said on IM, the only way its going to work is if the labels are all named the exact same thing in every way, and even then im not sure, since it would have to "select" a different label in each family, which a journal cant do. Assuming they WERE all the same label, you could probably get away with open, place a NEW label, edit label type, delete label, save... Since that would all be consistant with a new label placed...

If the labels all use the same text style you might be able to alter all of the text styles to use a different front from the text style "manager" dialog and capture that. I suspect that any "rogue" annotation families will cause Revit to "cough-up-a-hairball".

Naturally all your annotation families are neatly and consistent organized to use only the correct fonts so it'll be a breeze!
