What do you mean by rotating the section? As far as I know this cannot be done. Can you post the project? Or a picture of the section in plan?

I have attached a file with the roof and some walls. Section 2 is fine, but in section 1 the roof is not shown.

I'll look into it as soon as I have Revit available (loving the mobile forum layout btw)

This is your section one showing the roof (see attached) What is the problem?

Actually this can be done. Simply make your section the usual way, then select it and use the Rotate tool to rotate it in to a new position..

Seriously? I wrote this off a very long time ago as not being possible but I'll give it a try then.
