[Revit Structure] - Detail lines in families - bounding box

    Applies to: - Revit Structure

    New Feature / Problem:
At them moment when you add detail lines to a framing member it affects the "bounding box" for the member. See attached image.
You should be able to add inforamtion to the family withut it affecting the how the members are joined - in this case beam to column.

Why do you need this Feature / Why is it a Problem:
    Would allow for quick modelling

    Workflow:
When modelling framing and columns they don't join properly to each other if you have detail lines added to them (columns and/or framing members). When adding additional geometry or detail lines to a family you should be able to choose if they should be part of or affect the bounding box.

    Benefits:
You can add information to the family like centre lines that you then wouldn't have to add manually. Or on a beam you could add detail lines of a shear stud
