    rebuild analytical model?

A project was modeled once. (Wood structure with some steel columns; we did not use any analytical third-party design programs to import/export the model.) Then, it was set aside for owner review.

A few months later... Huh? Not enough $$$ in the budget for the project. Architects make changes to bring the project back into budget.

Playing catch-up, we move around columns, beams, etc. to match the new layout of the architectural model. While we're pretty much ignoring the analytical model for this project (because we're not using it for 3rd party design programs) the architects are whining because they see our analytical columns inside their showers and other places they're not wanting them. We've tried to explain to them that what they're seeing is the analytical model (that no longer matches up with the actual model) and that they can ignore the bold red dots they're seeing when they turn on "Reveal Hidden Elements."

Is there a way to globally re-sync the analytical model to the actual model after changes like these?

Look at this video. 2012-10-12_0920 - Alex_Cunningham's library Sorry if I move too fast. I haven't tried with multi elements at once.
