    Dimensions not reading "EQ"

I have a 30' bay with 4 beams spaced equally. I've dimensioned the beams (also tried dimensioning from the grid lines to the two center beams) and clicked the EQ symbol. For some reason, they're showing the 10'-0" dimension instead of the EQ text. I'm not having any problems with this on any other floor in this same project, nor in any other portion of my plan.

What do you think is going on?

Hi, sounds to me like a bug. My 2 cents.....

The properties of a dimension string can also be toggled to either the EQ notation or the actual Value. Highlight the dim string & look at properties. "Other" should be "Equality Display" - either EQ or Value.

Dimensions have an instance parameter for "Equality Display" than can be either Value or EQ.

        edit: opps too slow

I did have it set to EQ. (refer to the .jpeg attached to my original post.)
For now, I just dimensioned the next bay and it behaved as expected. But, I'd still like to know why it's not working correctly.

So right now you have it listed at 10' 10' 10' but right where your arrow is is EQ (on the plan)...click that and it will display them all as EQ.
