    File Icons

    Hello all,

We have recently started using Revit 2013 at work and all file types had become unrecognised (ie, .rvt files were unrecognised, .rfa files were unrecognised). We had fixed this problem by opening up the file from within revit however none of the file types have there usual icon. All that is shown on all revit files is just a plain white piece of paper. I had tried to access the program files to assign each icon to the desired file type, but i could not find any icons. All i could find was the standard 'R' icon.

Has anyone experienced the same problem??? Is there a way around this???

    Regards

is this on all PCs or just one? the easiest thing I can think of off the cuff is a repair install.

Mine looks different but I have BDS. I wouldn't think they would be different though... If the file works with a double click / right-click -> open I wouldnt' worry too much about it.
