    Predefined values in new sheets

Is it possible to change the predefined values in new sheets, like the Author, Checker, Approver ?

And can the default date format be changed from mm/dd/yy to dd/mm/yyyy ?

Re-reading my question, and realizing that I may not have been clear enough.

      Example:
When i create a new sheet, I want the predefined field for Author to read: "MyInit", and not "Author".

      Example:
When i create a new sheet, I want the predefined field for date to read "dd/mm/yyyy" with the current date, not mm/dd/yy.

I´m getting tired of changing these values manually for each and every sheet that I create :banghead:

make those two parameters type parameters not instance... maybe
then it would be controled by Project Information

Those are build in parameters, but I coud actually choose not to use them, and add project paramters, which would actually work for Author, Checker and Approver! Why did I never think of that... thank you

It wont work for the date field though, as I need it to pick up the actual date each sheet was created, not necessarily being the same date...

The format for automatic dates in Revit such as the Date/Time Stamp label, is read from your Windows settings.
Start > Control panel > Regional and Language options > Regional options tab > Customize > Date tab > select a new short and/or long date format.

Thanks guys, but that´s not it... my control panel setting are like i´d want them to be, but those settings do not get picked up by Revit.
Could it be because my OS is in Danish ? (Win 7, 64 pro)

Have you verified that changes in control panel affect revit on your systems ?

Yes, Klaus, changing those settings in Windows does have an effect in Revit. I tested it before posting. But, as I said, in my reply, it works for automatic dates such as the Date/Time Stamp label. Which date are your trying to change?
