Single line pipe rise/drop symbol behaves different when printing

I can't seem to find a post addressing this.

In Revit my pipe rise/drop symbol looks like I want it to

The line breaks at the drop symbol as expected.

However when I print the lines run through the symbol.

I've tried adjusting line weight but that doesn't seem to work. Increasing or decreasing the annotation size for the pipe rise/drop symbol doesn't work either. I also made sure the entirety of the pipe was withing the view range. I have the hidden line visual style selected as well (when I switch to wireframe the pipe looks like the printed picture.

I feel like there's a simple graphical or printing setting I'm just missing but I can't place it. This is in Revit 2019 Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know why your view and your PDF would differ but the symbol is controlled by the system type. Maybe start there?

Thanks for the reply. I had my rise/drop symbols set up the same as yours but still had the issue.

I actually think it has something to do with the hidden line settings. When I uncheck 'draw MEP hidden lines' in the mechanical settings the symbols behave like I need them to when I print. Of course I can't do this because then the single line pipes don't break when passing over one another, but it's a start.

I'll keep messing around and see if I can figure anything out. I'll update this thread if I find anything.

Apparently this is a known issue in Revit 2019.

From searching around some more it looks like some people have been able to solve this by printing raster but that didn't work for me.

Yeah, they fixed other related issues and broke this.

Don't worry Autodesk knows how much their clients rely on them to make speedy fixes for such embarrassing bugs...

    Oh...

Before some idiot gets irrately angry and post some dumb supper blown up image of Autodesk support with the date underlined several times perhaps you should try installing the latset service pack released on the 16th.
