    Automatically changing duct accessory tags

We use digfferent tags for different duct accessories, e.g. access panel and silencer have their own tags. But Revit resets all different type duct accessory tags to one type after synchronize or parameter update.
Is there way to lock tags or other ways to prevent this?

This does not sound like normal behavior at all.

Are your duct accessory tags different families for each or are they one family with multiple types?

    Yes, different families for each.

This was probably caused by MagiCAD add on.
