    You need to check your revit.ini file to make sure that its correctly pathed to the folder containing your lookup tables. If these families have come from a previous version make sure you copy across all the old lookup tables as well as there may be some differences between old and new releases.

    If you update your family files from 2013 to 2014 or newer the lookup tables should embed in the family, however you need to have the location correctly pathed before it will work.

    LookupTableLocation

    Defines the location of Lookup Table files, which are used when working with Revit MEP components to define parameter values in an external CSV file during file upgrade.

    Type = string

    Example: LookupTableLocation=C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\<produ ct and release>\Lookup Tables\

    Suspicious comments in other threads...along with a mass spam attack we have been dealing with the past few days...got caught up in the mass defense. So it was an oops if legit.

    Ban has been lifted....but I suggest the poster to not just blindly reply to other posts if not originally asking questions. As that is a habit of spammers and you will get looked upon as that.

    I saw his other posts. I just think this member, being new and probably not a forum junkie like the rest of us, was simply saying "Thanks" to the threads he was reading while going down the list of threads in the MEP section. This question is legit. It's always one of the first questions new MEP Revit users ask, and I can tell by the screen shots he's using the default MEP templates. Also, the 2014 year was the year you could attach a Lookup Table directly to the Family, so the MEP Users had a hard time resetting all our Families in this version year. It's also a horrible version year to try and learn Revit because of this very fact.

    I personally say this guy was good and his membership should be reinstated.
