    Revision schedule

    Hi all!

Just want to know is it possible to make revision schedule inside project, as is it possible to make sheet list (see picture)?!

If not, what is then best practice? Only inside titleblock? Is it possible then somehow to define visibility of the revision schedule so that I can tell to Revit when I want to see that schedule on titleblock and when not?!

Generally, where do I create revision cloud? On a sheet, or in model space?

    Best regards, Branimir

Cloud on a sheet as the sheet is the document that is being amended.

We cloud in the model as it is often a sketch that is being submitted and the cloud needs to appear on both the sketch and the original sheet.

I use Sheet Lists filtered by Current Revision Date to keep a list of all Sheets affected by a Revision. It's very handy for larger revision packages. The rub is that you can't filter by anything other than "Current Revision Date".

Revit is limited in how you can work with Revisions. I've been playing a round with Dynamo to get around some of those limitations. See my posts in this thread:

In my case, I've been trying to create a Dynamo definition that will auto-generate a Revision Narrative document. It's like 95% done, but I'm a bit lost in the weeds with it.

FYI sheet lists to keep track of Revisions can be filtered by Current Revision, Date, Description, Issued, Issued By, or Issued To

Sorry, what I meant to say was that you can't sort by any other Revision date than the current one.
