    Emergency lighting

    Using rvt 14'

    I cannot for the life of me find a emergency lighting family that is not wall hosted pre 11' or what ever is it (no longer oriented correctly when upgraded to 14') OR i get a IES file Parse error no matter what IES file i seem to put in the family

    using elumtools

    does anyone have a family that works that i can use?

    spec'ing something similar to this:ELT - Titan« Die-formed Steel Emergency Unit

    So just to be clear - you need a face based emergency light that was made in a Revit 2011 release or earlier?

    Try this.

    It may take some additional massaging to get it just right.

    I've had some issue with IES files showing inaccurate(low) lighting levels in Revit even when the same IES is used successfully in another program(elumtools, visual, etc..), but it sounds like you're having a different issue.

    Hope someone can elaborate on the 'parse error'.

    Any chance you could post the exact error message you're receiving?

    I know I am 4 years late but i have made some slight change to the family. It should now be a wall-mount, parametric and aethestically closer to the original family.

    Hope it helps somehow or for whoever is searching for an emergency light in the future.
