Generic Annotation Not Snapping To Center Of Duct

Hi all! I have been searching the forums for an answer but with no success... I am creating a simple BOD duct tag that I want to snap to the center of the duct when placed with no leader. Problem is right now it is coming in off center. All model lines are set to "not reference" and I have placed "strong reference" lines at the center where I want it to snap. Other tags work fine on the duct but this one is giving me problems for some reason. Any help is appreciated!

Tried your tag and it comes in perfectly center for me.

Is there any thing that could be messing it up in my duct or duct system itself?

I don't know enough about MEP to actually say much about it, but from what I know pipes and ducts always expand outward from a center line, right and it seems the tag comes in on the center line for me. But maybe somebody else knows a bit more about this all.

Ok, thanks for the input! I might try loading the tag into a different project and see what happens.
