Insert Unistrut to bottom of Containment.

    Hi Guys,
First post and long time reader.

Basically I have created a unistrut bracket family which I can manually insert and offset to sit at the bottom of some containment, I have used some addons for revit which automatically places a bracket to align with the bottom of the containment so Im wondering if anyone knows how to do this?
This would be a brilliant addition to me to save time manually offsetting and placing these brackets in my project,
I currently have this bracket as a generic model and I assume that it can be done through changing the host but cant seem to get it to work,
    any help appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tom

Maybe try adding connectors to the bracket and containment families? A ridiculous sounding idea, but as a HVAC guy that's all I've got. It would allow you to snap your brackets and rotate them into position before placing them.

Haven't tried this before so your mileage may vary. Keep an eye out for future replies as I'm sure there is probably a better way.
