Replacing my 90 deg Bends by 2 45 Deg. Bends

    Hi there

I have a question, is it possible to ask revit to uses 2 bend 45 degree rather than a Bend 90 degree# As you know when I am trying to draw a pipe from let's say a Drain Fixture, I have to offset let's say -500 mm then if I go to let's say right for a 1000 mm
I have created a L shape Piping segment# As you know again the Fittings that Revit Uses for this action is a 90 deg Bend But I rather it uses 2 Bends 45 deg#

I know I should be able to do it by some how manipulating my Pipe Family and it's preferences, But I do not know how?

I should add that I am doing sanitary Piping using Only 80 mm and 100 mm PVC Pipes.

Is it possible that in my look up table of (Bend - PVC - Sch 40 – DWV) Table I delete all 90 deg and 60 deg Rows of info from my table? I tried it but I get a message that some thing is wrong about my Lookup formula. Any recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Its not possible to get revit to place 2x 45 degree bends and a piece of pipe between, but it is possible to make a bend family that looks like that.
So actually it is a single bend so far as revit is concerned, making it easy to move, trim etc. but then you can control the length of the pipe between the two bends with a parameter.

If you only want to use specific angles, you can do that with the settings under Mechanical Settings -> Pipes -> Angles. Easier than modifying all your fittings.
