You can certainly set it to pan when you hold down the wheel. Mines always been that way, but i think you need to set it in the Logitech software first.

I've always thought this about the (elite-end) of the PC-peripheral market, especially given the relative ease with which "reverse" formers could be manufactured these days. I guess someone has crunched numbers hard enough to devalue the market-sell potential - but that still doesn't explain the bias even at the more consumer level of, for example, the console controller market.

We should dismantle an MX MAster, and scan it, and see about making one backwards. The GUTS of the mouse dont even have to change, LOL. Or, lets get Logitech in here.

Im a lefty, but only with certain things, and a mouse isnt one of them. Although in 2009-2010 i alternated hands, every other day, when my arm was in bad shape from working too much, LOL.

I use a righty mouse in my left hand with no button change. But used to it all ways as im often with students and all their mouses. But it has always p#%^*ed me off with thes lovely ergo mouses, even the verticals, not being left handed. No wonder by statistics we die earlier. And we all have callouses on the inside of our left thumb. (Surprised i havent seen that clue on one of the british murder shows).
