    Bringing back this thread!

    (to ask)

So, who's gone Ultra-Wide? I've really found myself more productive w/ the real estate of my 4K at home over my (albeit ghetto) ensemble at home - and am increasingly lured toward even wider - perhaps not so-very-LG49WL95C-big for .dyn and spreadsheet stuff (that I really do go mega-wide on)… and also, thinking, wouldn't Enscape look ultra pretty on a big wide panorama (pending a gpu upgrade obvs)

I still have my old pair of 24" monitors at work, mostly because they have a height adjustment & USB ports on them, and a pair of 22" at home. I'm lame

A pair of 22" monitors at work, a single 24" at home. I claim the lame title

At home....one 27" like Aaron's on comp #1 and two 32" 4K Acers on Comp #2. The 4K monitors are at 125% zoom so the icons are just about the size of those on the 27" when using small icons.

Pic of Comp#2... My office is rather dark so had to brighten up the pic some, so it is extremely grainy.

Better pic...48" is not hooked up to a PC now, but it used to be. It was hooked up in conjunction with the 27" but Revit kept having a fit. Was awesome with PDF's and Excel though.

LOL from pic#1 I was going to ask "what is that svelte beauty of a case you have there" then pic#2 showed it's fat (gl)ass!

It's a Core P5 from Thermaltake. It's an open chassis. Lots of room to grow if I get into liquid cooling which I may get into one of these days.

You pretty much need liquid cooling with open cases. The airflow isn't optimized for air cooled.

Yeah, the CPU is liquid cooled, but the video cards are not. When I move to the RTX cards I will probably upgrade to liquid and rebuild totally with probably an i9 processor. I just have to have a job first.
