BTW, here is a video of it running and doing a FULL rollout on a clean machine, here. The first twenty or so seconds of the video are at normal speed, the rest is sped up. Video runs over 6 hours, doing everything.

    snowyweston,

Late response here, but not sure if you have had your IT folks look at my previous post on MDT Deployments yet... It does take a good amount of effort to setup, but works really well. Another option that maybe slightly "user friendly" is PDQ Deploy and Inventory.... It has a more approachable interface. I have tested these tools and wanted to get them for our office, but alas, no dice! If you poke around the /r/sysadmin subreddit it is a pretty well reviewed and popular choice among other sysadmins.

Even if I had PDQ tools, I would still use Gordon's tools. ADSK doesn't make things super easy, and PXT is more tailored to handle ADSK weirdness.

Also...The PDQ guys have tons of videos that walk through their features while drinking beer. What couldn't be better right?

At one point Bill Debevc (BimThoughts) was using PDQ Deploy and had great things to say about it.

Also - I'm using the PXTools here and they are great once you wrap your head around some of the finer points.

Ive used PDQ fairly extensively. SCCM too. Neiother can do the same things as the PX Tools, in terms of end user customization and long term management.

The UI is definitely nice, in PDQ, but the feature set and nuances pale in comparison.

So when I redo all my videos for PxT 4.0 I should do it with a nice glass of Portuguese Tempranillo? Duly noted.
