We have been experiencing Revit lagging when in a workshared model with 2 or more people in it. Revit will give you the busy cursor when we do a simple edit like change the text on a door tag. Everyone who is in the model will experience this lag. We have done some testing and the problem seems to be when the central model is on Cluster File Server, if the drive with the model is not on a cluster file server no lagging. I'm not an IT guy so I can't really get into the server stuff but we are using Cisco UCS Blade servers running Windows 2012 Hyper-V.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a solution to this? Is anyone else out there using Cluster File Servers? I saw one similar post but no resolution (http://www.revitforum.org/hardware-i...ustrating.html) .

We have tested this in Revit 2014 update 2 (and 2013) with a workshared version of the rac_advanced_sample_project.rvt.

Thanks in advance!
