So using real rebar (not area/path) when you create bars in a view they are defaulted to have the check box "Unobstructed In View" checked in that view. Is there anyway to over ride this so that is not checked by default?

You could try and change the setting prior to placement, but to be honest I do not know if this will be remembered. The reason this is check by default is that there are instances where you could place a bar where it would be hidden by the concrete you are placing it into. We would not want to place a bar and have it disappear (this happens enough in other places).Originally posted by gdoherty0102 View Post

I kind of figured that was the reason why. I think I recall from RST 1 or 2 that they did not have this and so every time you placed bars it would give you the error about items you just placed are not visible in view. I will try unchecking this prior to placement and see if it works. Thank!Comment
