    Dimension with intermediate dot

Is it possible to make that kind of dimension type?

Can you show the entire dimension?
    Is this an axis mark?

In fact, this dimension type would be for rebar detailling. In our office, we don't put 3D rebar in our models.
We put our text in the same orientation and over the rebar (which is a detail line)

I looked over the interior thick mark in the dimension type properties but I didn't notice what it was affecting.

      Thank You

Doubt that you'll ever be happy with the result, but FWIW, you can come pretty darn close... and maybe even closer, if you spend more than the few minutes I just gave it...

Alexandre, as noted in the reply to your PM, I do not have this in a 2011 version, but here's the exact setting I used for the 2012 example.

But really, don't get you hopes up - It's IMO not a viable solution, unless you can refine it some...

            Thank You,

I'll take a look at it when I'll have access to a RST2012. If i get some valuable results I'll let you know.

Since you're not modelling the rebar, have you looked at the OOTB Detail Component?

(Actually, I just found it this morning by chance.) Mine is located in my Detail Components> Div 03-Concrete> 032100-Reinforcing Steel> Rebar-Distributed.rfa

May need to edit the family so it's a dot instead of a circle; but, this family may help.

Heum... I unfortunately don't have this one. The content of the library was probably filtered because it was on a network, I don't know.
I only 1have those M_Reinf Bar Bend.rfa, could you send me the Rebar-Distributed.rfa?

                Thanks a Lot

you said you're currently on RST2011, correct?
The family for RST2011 is attached.

                    Thank You Leanne,

I just found it in the RST2011 Library ... My mistake (sigh)
I'm working on both 2011 and 2012 at work but I only have RST2011 at home.
