    How to shorten the Gridline partially

    What I mean is ..
    I would like to shorten the Gridline - that would only affect to the relevant plan ( for me only at roof level plan ) so that i could present my elements not to overlap with the Gridlines ...

    especially as attached;
    i would like to make my Roof Member outstanding on my roof plan.

    Any better solution.
    Thanks

    Revit basic concept 3D (global - all views) versus 2D (local - individual view) applies to grids/levels/reference planes - click the 3D icon that you see when you select the grid, will change to 2D and the grip will change from open circle to filled circle (dot). Dragging the grip now will only affect the view you are doing it in.
